Sofia giggled, but asked, ‘Do you think they guessed? That we’re lovers, I mean.’
‘I reckon they probably did. They’re not thick; either of them. And the way we were looking at each other in that photo must make it fairly obvious. That big silly grin on my face was probably enough to give the game away.’
‘You leave it be. I think you have a beautiful smile.’
‘It’s impossible not to smile when I’m with you, Sofia. Especially after a day like today.’
‘If that’s the case, I can’t wait to see you smile again.’
